Default RE: os 1.60 v/s moki 2.10

hilleyja,

I almost lost the same airplane twice due to not having my Moki 1.80 setup properly. Once was with a Cline regulator (leaking) and the other was last weekend using a Perry pump (erratic running). I got a little lucky both times and saved it. I am hell bent on getting a pumped or regulated fuel system working on my CAP232 120 because when that 1.80 is getting all the fuel it needs all the time it has scary power on uplines and hovering. Also a lean or fuel starved Moki sounds like crap. I am going back to the Cline (he sent me a new one) and I hope this time it doesn't stick open. Anyone using a Cline make sure to use a good filter in front of it.

Last weekend my 1.80 kept starting backwards and I heard from someone on RCU that a rich low end causes that. So I leaned it and sure as heck that was it.

Later,
Joe
