Default RE: Elevators setup

you can do it two different ways. first, you can use a JR MatchBox, Futaba MSA-10, or Smart-Fly Equilier II to equilize the elevators and adjust them from there. the second thing you can do is get a reversing y-harness; however, i do not suggest using this one because it's the hardest to adjust and the least lanier. the last thing you can do (which i did) is run two long extensions down the fuse from each servo and plug them into channels 2 and 5. grab your radio (or print it out) for this part. here are the steps for programming the 9c to do this:

1. make sure both extensions are in the correct channel and securely in the socket.
2. turn on the plane and radio.
3. go to the advanced menu by pressing and holding the menu button once, then pushing it once more.
4. go to "*prog.mix1".
5. hit the down arrow twice so you are in a new adjustment menu.
6. where it says "INH" you must turn the dial left so it reads "ON".
7. hit th down arrow once.
8. turn the dial to the right until the highlighted "AILE" looks like "ELEV".
9. hit the down arrow again.
10. turn the dial to the right until "RUDD" reads "GEAR".
11. hit the down arrow and twist the dial until "LINK>OFF" reads "LINK>ON".
12. hit the down arrow and twist the dial until "TRIM>OFF" reads "TRIM>ON".
13. dont worry about which switch it's on because we will make it "NULL".
14. to do this, hit the down arrow until you reach "POSI>NULL" leave it in the 'null' position, and if it isn't in that position then chnge it with the dial until it reads "POSI>NULL".
15. then hit the down arrow on your radio.
16. move the elevators all the way up; then twist the dial until the "0%" is at "100%".
17. move the elevators all the way down and teist the dial until you reach "100%".
18. try out the elevators to make sure they move the same distance.
19. if one is a little off from the other, you must go to the "SUBTRIM" section of the basic menu and scroll with the arrows down to "ELEV" or "GEAR" to change either of them.

that's it! if you have any other problems with the radio or setup you can email me or post back here. thanks!
