Servo Question
Hi Guys,
I'm hoping someone can help with some advice on servos.
I bought two new, supposedly identical, servos as elevon actuators for an Avonds Rafale.
The problem is: the servo arm on one servo can be rotated by hand very smoothly with little effort. However, the other servo offers much more resistance and is almost impossible to move by hand. This "test" is performed with no electrical power.
Both servos appear to operate identically when powered (e.g. travel ranges and speed) and both appear to draw the same amount of current. Both servos are Futaba 9202.
Has anyone ever experienced two identical servos acting like this? Is there a problem or is the difference due to normal to manufacturing variation (say in material choice or lubricant maybe)?
Thanks in advance....
