the apc 14-6 prop is a 2 blade. 4 blade props are not very efficient, and you will need a much different engine to use a 4 blade and get any real performance. i would think at least the st 2300, maybe a saito 1.8. but if you search here on rc universe you can find a number of threads on 4 blade props also.

I won`t change engines now.but probably consider it for next project. Dealer sold me a master K when I bought everything. He told me it would be real good. It`s just that I want 4 blade for scale apperance. Might have to settle 2 for flight, and 4 blade for static display. Would like to finish the F4U-5 for show, and go!! More realistic, but a mans` got to do what hes` got to do. I quess...[>:] By the way what do you have your system in? Estimated speed?how about fuel consumption? I`ve got 14 OZ Dubro tank,just curious what kind of flight time i could expect.
