As a new R/C pilot (Well, not yet really. I still haven't flown my new NexSTAR yet.) I just wanted to applaud you for this incredible idea. With luck it will help bring members into this hobby. There are some incredibly generous people out there, and I hope to donate sometime. Sadly, I won't be in a position to be able to do that for awhile. Heh, after spending all of my money, plus some, on my NexSTAR I don't even have enough, or close to enough, considering that I am in debt at the moment, for an AMA membership or a club membership. I was hoping to make my first flight on May 1st, but it doesn't look like that will be happening. In fact, I just crunched the numbers and it seems I will be in debt for the next several months. [] Too bad AMA memberships can't be donated. I suppose this long delay will give me the chance to practice in the simulator even more though. [] Heh. Oh well. Keep up the good work, perhaps when I move on to larger planes and have some spare parts I will be able to help with this idea.
