Guys,

I am thinking of running an artistic aerobatics/freestyle event up in Scotland either this year or next year but probably next year due to how late in the day it is.

I would propose a two-day event comprising 50% freestyle and 50% schedules as follows:

3 X 4min freestyle to music or not

1 X Known schedule (5 manoeuvres)
2 X Unknown sequences (9 manoeuvres)

This would give you 6 scores of which the pilot takes their best 4 (2 from freestyle, 2 from schedules) giving a possible 4000 points (each round would be normalised to 1000). If time was an issue an unknown and a free would be dropped.

Models: Anything goes but the pilot must use the same model for the free as for the unknowns and knowns.

If anyone is interested let me know. If there is insufficient interest then the event will not take place or it will but as part of an established event e.g. the Scottish Nats.
