The 85" version may be an alternative. I've been moving toward the 50cc class as practice alternative to larger glow planes instead of getting out the 35 or 40% models. The reason is they don't cost a much to fly as the large glow planes. Engines in the 50 cc range cost about the same (sometimes less) as a YS 140 etc. BME, DA and 3W all offer good options and the BME 50 I'm currently running is not much heavier than a large glow engine. The performance is better with the slightly larger size. Fuel costs and ease of maintenance help also.
