Default RE: Best 120 size plane for 3-D/ IMAC?

If it is pure 3D, 120 size you are looking for, visit some of the threads on RCU about the World Models FunWorld 120 3D. It comes with split ailerons so you can set it up for crow. Has a very thick airfoil, long fuselage and is very light for its size. I am using a ST2300 on mine, with a Nelson intelliglow ignition on it. The engine is mounted inverted, so the on board glow keeps the fires lit on the big two stroke. I am running an APC 17X6 prop and 5%powermaster on this one, with no problems. The plane weighs about 11 pounds with extremely low wing loading. I put a 4*120 aluminum gear on it with larger wheels, because our field is so rough. On low rates, I can do all of the IMAC basic pattern with it flawlessly. Still working on Sportman, but this plane is so neutral, steady and straight line, that anyone can fly it. On 3D rates, it rocks. With crow on a 3D plane, there are so many things you can make the plane do, it isn't funny.

The plane does not have a tall enough fuselage to do a knifedge loop, but if one wanted to add of 4D mods to it, that would be doable in short order.

The plane has wing tubes, a large open fuselage with removable canopy/turtle deck, for easy access to its guts, so easy to work on and move stuff around for CG changes. At $249.00 it is less expensive than other planes its size, and since it has split ailerons, you can use two std heavy duty servos, instead of more expensive units.

I just don't get enough time to fly mine as much as I would like, but love it, since it makes my flying skills look better than they are.
