Default model tech

I have the .40 sized P-51 and have only one thing that I would change. It comes with wood rails for mounting the engine and after about 40 flights, all of the glue joints on the rails came loose in flight. I should say that I had not noticed the problem until then but it probably was happening all along. I landed without incident and re-glued all joints of the rails and have had no problems since.

I might add that this plane was my first plane after being out of the hobby for about 15 years and with a little help from an instructor, only had one mishap and tore out the left gear. A few hours of repairs and I was back in the air.

Everyone who has flown this plane at my field has commented on how well it flies for a war bird. It tracks well and flies great with the OS 46fx in the nose.

All in all, I would definitely buy another Model Tech ARF.
