The easiest remedy is to do as Minn suggested. If the aileron is OK at the outboard ends, just cut the inboard opposite side to match the 1/4" mistake. The inboard portion of an aileron is no where near as effective as the outboard, so make sure the outboard is correct and just match up the inboards. You'll be fine.
