I installed my Sullivan bracket real easy after the plane was built. I glued a piece of thin plywood onto the bottom of the tail section so that the screws would have something solid to screw into. Since the bottom of the rudder is a bit too high, I glued a little balsa block onto the bottom of the rudder, and used that as a mount for the Sullivan steering spring wire to fasten into.
