If you can find a pair of pliers with a screw cutter area, then you can use that part to do it. make a fairly good shearing cut. Use the smallest available hole that the pushrod will fit into. Best choice IS the Dremel though. They are hard to plug in at the field but there are battery powered versions(never charged when you need them). []
