Joe, in some cases the horizontal stab and/or the elevator trim can force the front of the floats down causing difficulty in keeping the plane in a straight line. Try a little up elevator trim for your take off run. If this helps, you may want to shorten the front gear or lengthen the rear gear. Also, when the plane veers left on lift off I would guess it may be the combination of torque and P-factor. Do you have any right thrust in the engine mount? If not, you may want to add some. Also, try taking off with a little less power. With that 60 up front you have more power than you need. By the way, the finish on the floats look great...Seaplane
