Hey guys, Spud here-well I'm now a certified UCD driver. Finally took it out today with 15 knot sustained winds. The 90 never made it past 1/2 throttle. Up up & away. Did my first ever actually flat inverted spin. Here in Homestead, FL we are at sea level, so there is no lowering the field. Pulled out before the landing, sorry guys no inverted landing today. Tried some hover but to windy for a novice like me. Tried out a couple of my P-mixes all was working well. Turned for home throttled to just over idle into the wind and spot landed some ten feet away with no roll-out. Had to call it a day because of one of our S. FL afternoon showers sneaking in & for some reason my muffler shook loose- I balanced the living dog-P out of the prop and spinner. Maybe I drilled the hole little off center, who knows? I want to get a tru-turn 2" wide cut and some apc 15-4w's. But after the 9C the wife says I'm done for awhile. Well I have overtime Fri & Military next weekend soooooooo maybe she'll budge just a little. Besides this weekend is her day anyway.
