Default Tower Hobbies Voyager , need help

I just swapped the motor mount and engine to a "right side up" configuration on my Voyager (year 2003 model). Now I need to move the throttle pushrod, etc "over and up" to match. Now it will be right close to the nose wheel steering pushrod. Does anyone know any tricks with this? I've read previous posts that say this is a good modification to do, but could someone please share a few details? i.e. Did you move the throttle servo off the tray to a new mount location? Any special pushrod used, or just the stock stuff? Do I have to move the fuel tank down? Trying not to push my luck here, just want to fly a reliable plane.
Thanks in advance for your time, patience, and good will.
