mine came with the 370 motor and it flew. the 280 is said to go like 20mph.
I have been thinking of getting one...it's nice to know the esc can handle a 370 in it! Since it comes with a "Super 280" (It says)
Than, it should smoke pretty good with a 370. I am looking at venom-racing fireball 370 motors already to put in. I will probably get a rc18t as soon as I sell my rc heli. (Used twice, never crashed, 50.00)

Anyone know how big of a motor you can actually throw in there?
Try the Reedy Mini Mmax motor, very fast - a big jump up in speed from the stock motor. Also take a look at [link=http://www.spcracing.com/html/mini-type_packs.html]SPC's[/link] mini-type Sport packs for the 18T. They only cost $14.50 and they are the fastest mini pack I've tried so far.
