The Jeti Plus with programming cards are extremly easy to program. Set the jumpers on the desired pins and plug it in between the RX and controller. Beep confirms the programming and unplug it. That is all there is to it. I have the castlecreation PHX-link too and the programming card take much less time. Not to mention I can change options at the field in about 10 seconds if I need too.
I have had 4 shocky's and yes they are easily repaired (I have done my fair share). As Matt stated about hovering, it is about how you setup the plane. All of mine have a center CG and hold in a hover easily. Corrections always have to be made as no plane is hands off.
