Default RE: Impact

It is, and they are all, exactly the same. The red-rudder just happens to be turned a bit towards us.

There is absolutely no need to change the hinge angles. I just made the top a bit shorter to reduce the power of the counter balance. (I actually cut the counter balance completely off my Temptations.)

What you cannot really see is the double bevel. that made it easier to retro-fit. Also on number 2 I slipped a 1/8" fin rib in place. It runs a t about 45 degrees up from the TE of the stab. Now you can't compres the fin at all.

I intend to fly number 2 tomorrow - it got too finger-bone-chilling cold and windy over that last few days. I will fly both of them as hard as is "fair to the plane" and see if all of the upgrades succeed in keeping them together. I may even do some reverse avalanches with 1.5 snaps !!!!

I can fly number one left-handed around the field on KE rudder @ 1/4 throttle. I hope number 2 is as good?

Regards,

Eric
