RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
sctchrash, if all you have is a 46 size engine, then by all means use it. As for the servos, go with a high torque on the rudder, you will need it when you start doing any thing but just flying the pattern. If you read back thru the posts, you will find alot of tips to help out with your build. I think that the 6exa is a very good raido, but it is limited with some of the function. You should be able to set up the plane with the dual aeilerons on 1 and 6, and I think that you will need to turn on the flaperon function on the raido also. If you can swing the cash, get a servo reversor for the elevator. The 6exa won't be able to get it to work very well. Just remember to mind the throws on the control surfaces. For my first flights I had them set lower than the low rates and set up the dual rates so that on high rates, it was at the low (Great planes recommened) settings. Helps to get used to it. Try to get the CG around the 5 inch mark. the 6 volt batt is a good choice. Just remember, some times right after charging the batt, some servos will jitter a bit but is should go away. It happens with mine. I just use a batt checker with a load on it for about 15 to 20 seconds and it solved the problem with mine.
