I attached mine with a strip of covering. Use a trim iron, or you regular iron turned down some, and iron the strip to the canopy and then to the hatch. Practice on some scrap first to get the temp right. 200+ flights and it hasn't moved an inch. I do all my planes this way. Hope you can see it in the attached photo.
