Default How do I convert this logo?
All,

I am planning on building a Top-Flite DC-3 and wanted to scale it after the old Icelandic Airways plane in the photo below.
I have a poor quality image of the airline logo and wanted to modify it into a mask or a template that I could then use to spray paint the logo onto the finished model.

What would be the best way to do this?
I have 30 day tryout versions of both Photoshop and Illustrator but am not very good at either.

Pls note that the plane in the photo is a model - I believe it's the Ziroli DC3
