Default RE: My Ultra Stick Flew..Kind of..

Wow.........Thanks for the help guys..... Moving the incidence to level did the trick. WOW.. was that Cool.[sm=thumbup.gif].
I also layed off the throttle and the elev. One of the old timer float guys gave me a few pointers too. I guess I was really heavy on the elev. last week. And he was watching. So he walked out with me today and talked me through what I did wrong. So here's how he explanied it. He had me go straight out from where I was standing and had me go hard on the elev. and I watched the wake and splash behind the float.. Well that was it.. I saw it. The tail of the floats were digging in big time. I slowed down and came back around and did a second run, same way. straight out, but ezzzed into the elev. and throttle and BAMMM I was in the air nice and pretty.
I was just so use to the way I took off on paving, and in a way it is exactly the same. I was trying to force the plane into the air way to much.
My landings still need some work but I did 1 nice slider today so that was cool too. Now I want that perfect landing that Jim Casey talks about.

Great fun this new found float flying... I"LL BE BACK..

Thanks again for the help guys, every thing you said was the deal to success.
