RE: Straight lines PLEASE!
Well it is dangerous to be in the minorty, but I have to agree with Kelly. Hopefully things will swing back the other direction or at least to the middle of the road. I really have had my share of planes that look like they have been on a bad acid trip from the 60s.
Dont get me wrong, I love my Edge and it has been my daily flyer since Jan of 04. However last June when I got my 300L I had to strip it and start over, just couldnt handle that one.
It must have something to do with money, maybe it is faster and easier cover them when all the lines are curved and it doesnt matter about the overlaps.
Sure you can get a solid one and do your own scheme or do like I did and recover, but that takes away from the concept of getting it in the air fast and having to spend more money and time. So it would be nice to have something to choose from that looks like a real plane and not a bad dream.
I must admit the new 260 is an improvement since at least the scheme matches on both sides of the plane. IMO it makes the planes look better on the up lines if both sides match.
Dont be to tough on me now, cause no matter what they look like, we all love how great they fly and Tom has really done a great job of bringing us some great planes at a good price.
