I'm sure the bearings could stand ro be replaced on your engine.

Often it is mentioned that leaking out the front bearing is as much related to the clearance of the crankshaft relative to the crankcase in between the two bearings as it is the seal on the front bearing.

In spite of the model 2 cycle engine being a simple looking device, it's much more sophisticated than it looks. If you've never had one apart and back together before it could be quite a challenge to you.

If you are not accustomed to working on mechanical devices, you best leave it to someone who is.

Once you have done it a few times, there's nothing to it.

Boca bearings is the most convienent place to get bearings and I've never heard any complaints. But from my experience, they are not name brand bearings. If you want a top name bearing like MRC or IKO or Fafner you will have to go to an industrial bearing distributor.
