are you saying that anybody at any level of experience, including none, who decides to put a plane in the air anywhere they want is covered by AMA insurance (if they have paid their dues)?? If he is not near any clubs, and is covered when he goes to try to fly the thing, that explains why AMA dues are going up to cover those insurance costs!!!
