I was going through the posts & came across this one. The area where they are flying, is that one of the cooling tower ponds at the 1 of the 3 power stations at Piper Flat between Lithgow & Cullen Bullen?
When I used to live down in Sydney, we used to go past there to get to Mudgee to ride MX bikes. Nice part of the world out there, hope you enjoyed the place.
