
Spud, In my opionon the 3004 is not enough servo for the UCD. The manual recommends a minimum of 50oz torque. This servo doesn't do it at 4.8v and 6v it barely does. It's also a nylon gear servo. That is probably why you had an incident with the aileron servo. I actually blew two out before I upgraded. You can probably do it for a while but sooner or later I think you'll want to upgrade your servos or repair your plane. I use the HiTech servos, they aren't too expensive and the ones I use have metal gears. That solved the servo problems but not the crashing problems I seem to have. Although I must admit, I'm doing better this year. I've only flat spin landed one plane and I'm at about 60 flights.
