Default RE: Rodger Dodger Build

Re: The original CL Roger Dodger plans.

Someone posted on another board that the John Pond plans are now available from AMA so I checked. They are indeed available with exception of some that have ownership issues (marked in red). There is a list in PDF format, plus a few old Pond catalogs, if desired. There is also an order form in PDF format to print, and, I think, an online form to fill out. the AMA plan number for the CL Roger Dodger is # 26896.

Even if you don't build the plane, sometimes it is interesting to observe the construction methods and innovations used in the early days. I have an old SE-5 CL stunt (?) plan from the late 40's that uses two metal flashlight battery cases as a fuel tank. Venting was by using grease fittings (zerks) with the spring removed. The loose ball became a check valve. Hi-tech for the day.
