The formula 3D is on my short list as I have the .91 FX. Do you think it would overpower the plane as it’s a long way over the recommended engine range? I know that 3D requires power but I don’t want to overdo it.
Also the specification for this plane and the Seagull Harrier .90 are very similar (wing span, length etc) and the engine recommended for the harrier is a .61 to a 1.00 2 stroke, just to give you an idea.


If it is the case that it requires a .91 or similar why do you think the manufactures recommend engines which will not give max performance? It is in the manufactures interest to have a good performing plane.
