Another thing I do to laterally balance to help in not adding much extra weight, is to mount the battery on edge, upright, on the side of the fuse that needs the weight. The battery is heavy an even though it dosen't usually stop the requirement to add wing tip weight it reduces the amount needed. Good luck.
