I will build a scale dummy engine,
I plan on a G-62 for power, that should fit completely within the cowl of the Cub. I don't think I would try to use any BUSA parts for this Cub, once you get your plans you will see how the construction goes, the aileon's on the plans are very scale along with the hingeing. I am sure this is more scale than the BUSA set-up. There is a template for the windshield on the plans along with the aluminum fairings at the wing root. I plan on using .010 aluminum roof flashing material for all the fairing pieces, I have a 25ft roll under my work bench
The landing gear will be a pain in the arse to build but they should look very nice, I think I will construct a welding Jig and have a buddy weld them for me(professional welder). I will have him weld all the tubing for the cabin truss also. I am comtemplating building 2 planes at once, one full wing the other Clipped. The full wing for competition and the clipped wing for fun.
