I've had 2 Globees- the first one went bad, and the vendor replaced for me. It seems to work just fine, as long as the battery is good. There was a thread earlier about the need to 'modify' it slightly for better performance. You have to take it apart, and blacken out all the area around the photosensor with a sharpee magic marker. Of course, you want to leave the clear plastic window directly in fromt of the sensor open.
