The X means it's pull start.
OS .21RG : start with starter box, not a pilot shaft
OS .21RG(X) : pull start, non pilot shaft
OS .21RG-P : start with starter box, pilot shaft (what you need for buggies)
OS .21RG-P(X) : pull start with pilot shaft.
