Sorry to hear of your loss, I too have an MK Skystar & it was a lot of work to build so I feel
for you.
The above post on Performance Specialties is the way to go for YS advice- hopefully your
1.10 can be saved.

I also had a 1.10 in my Skystar but retrofitted an OS 91FX very soon. Those MK mounts are
terrible! This has been documented a lot on RCU lately- never again for me.
They worked ok for me last I used them many years ago when the OS 61RF-P was "state of the art"- but there is no way they work with 4 cycles & the bigger 2 cycles we use today.

I will build more MK kits, but will modify the nose for a Hyde mount or similar. I would be curious
what modelers in Japan say about these mounts. The kits are beautiful but as designed force
you to use their mounts and they just are not up to the job.
