Hi Handglider, I have never run or seen a SuperTiger 2500 run, but I have a s.t.90 and it has some power. Your Quadra 42 is the same as my U.S.41 I think. About 4 and 1/2 pounds of weight. I would try the super tiger first. It might out perform the Quadra. With the quadra it will be hard to keep the weight down to 16 lbs. With my us41 I had to add a 6 inch strip of lead to the tail and if I removed it I would have a nose heavy plane. If you use the Quarda think about changing the muffler, sure helped my 41 about 250 r.p.m,s. Hope this helps you. Wayne M.
