Can you give some info on the KS Krumschied silencer you mention? I have looked at several of the pitts type gas mufflers, and notice that only one so far has made any attempt at a smooth transition from the exhaust port to the silencer itself. They direct the fast moving exhaust gasses into a right angle as soon as they exit the cylinder, BAM! The gasses bounce off the wall, back at the cylinder, terrible flow design! ZDZ had a muffler at the Toledo show (maybe it was the Super Sonic?) that had a small ramp incorporated into the throat of the header part of the muffler. It was at least an attempt at smoothing out the flow.
