Alot of how a plane performs 3D manuvuers is how much control surface & control surface deflection you have.
Try it out first before you go ripping the ailerons off---

The torque created from the motor spinning the prop tends to make the plane go into a torque roll, the plane just spins with the torque. Lack of control surface and how much deflection you have can make it very difficult to learn to hover because of this.

Also if the plane has only enough power to "sort of" hover- You are asking for trouble---If you make a mistake and you need to get out of it chances are pretty high something bad will happen because you couldnt pull out.

It is a good looking plane and if you made some mods I belive you could get it to do 3D.

Be carefull when you move to a LiPo batt. If you overload your ESC. with too many amps bad things can happen.
