I don't mean to rain on the party but there ae so few authentic zeros left - if there are any - that some number of AT-6s were modified (cowlings, spinners, livery, etc.) to look like zeros. All of the Hollywood films, old and new, used AT-6s.

The easiest way to spot the differences between the two aircraft are the profile of the tails. The fuselage end of the Zero is pointed where the AT-6's tail is not prominent at all. Also, the vertical fin profiles are different.

If they're Zeros, I would SURE like to see some photos of them!
