If anyone restores another, then yes, there would be two.
The planes the thread starter's friend saw were probably AT-6 in Japanese WWII paint. There is a group of them that does mock combat at airshows. I saw them a few years back in Omaha along with the B-2 bomber and other interesting flying aircraft.
