Thanks for all the info John. I looked at your review and the vid, very nice... I am set on a DA50 now. I will use your review in the building of my plane. Just one question..how did you know where to mount the engine, did you make a template? If so can you post it so I can use it?
On the subject of the DA burning up like that while inverted is hard to believe, because I am sure when they design these engines, they know that they are most likely going to be mounted inverted. If you know someone who this happened to, I bet there was a bad part or two made, thats all...hopefully my optimism doesn't get the best of me,lol.
