Use the brass/aluminum stopper assembly that BVM sells. You just drill a hole in the finished tank (before joining the 2 halves), bond in the brass recepticle into the tank from the inside.

Bond the two tanks halves together, then screw in the threaded "stopper" with the clunk installed from the outside, into the brass recepticle. Easy
