I will try to answer both your questions. I counted last night and it was a 10 tooth pinion. As far as the amps, I don't have the meter to measure it right now, but when I had put it together I took it back to the hobby shop and they measured it for me and I think it was around 7-10 amps continuous and 18 or 19 amps burst. Can't remember for sure. I will have to take it back and get it measured again.
