I've got the e-flite 370 5400 in mine and it's got more than enough power. I've also tried the himax 2812-850 outrunner and that has plenty of power also. I've used the 10x4.7 and 11x4.7 props with no problem. Either prop works fine however I get better run times from the 10x4.7. You should be able to use your existing ESC with either motor. The e-flite is about $47 and the Himax is in the $63 range. I like the Himax better. It's very quiet and about 50% more efficient. I can get almost 20 minutes from a 3s1p 1450 li-po battery.
