I'm just finishing a Phoenix Strega with an O.S. 50SX and I'm wondering if I should glass the wing center section(not mentioned in the instructions), since a few posts I've read indicate it's a fairly quick airplane. I hate to tear up the orange covering since I can't find any to replace it locally. On the plus side, the wing halves at the root have a very wide chord which presents lots of gluing area at the butt joint, so maybe glassing isn't necessary.

Also, has anybody set the plane up with flaperons and if so, how much travel?
