film or fabric
I find that the fabrics, i.e. Solartex, Worldtex, Colortex, is much easier to work with than any of the films. They are stronger, go around compound curves much better and adhere much better. They do have some drawbacks though, they collect dirt better unless you paint on a clearcote or similar and they are slightly heavier. As to cost, I find them cheaper, you get a full 2 meter length in a standard roll, not 36 inches, and I believe is a little wider as well. This may not sound like much but I can cover a lot bigger planes with less waste using fabric tha;n using films. If you are just starting, you will find either type both satisfying and, at times, quite frustrating. Good luck, Rod
