Are one forced to carry more fuel, which means more weight ? That is assuming 'similar' fligh profile regarding speed.
Hello,

At similar thrust settings, the P-120 uses less fuel than a P-80.

The P-120 is a bit heavier (I think about 4 ounces) and has a bit higher idle thrust.

Jason flew the BVM Sabre with a P-80 many times at Superman.

The turbine was set at 113K RPM , what an excellent flying plane! Jason is going to get one, and it is purely for the flying characteristics.

Oh yeah Jack Diaz flew his Rafael with twin P-160s....wow
