RE: 42"wingspan p51d what size engine?
i most deffinately am not kidding!!,this method has been used for years over here and is surprisingly light with the advantage of adding strength too.ive seen a few threads about this covering and also a good article in rcme may 2005 a guy built and covered a foam hurricane simillar size to mine.i realise balsa is heavier than foam but i dont think this covering will add that much weight.obviously you water down the glue 50% water to glue.
you didnt answer my question about the engine?.hows she look in the pic ?,ive since sanded her to shape a bit more and shes looking good for a 1st scratch build i think?.
