Default RE: will my project fly???

Your wing loading is 11.5 oz/sq.ft. - a real floater.

Assuming the CoG is correct, the plane is built straight and true, the incidence angles are correct and the EDF55-150 (am not familiar with that fan) will generate at least 4 oz of thrust, your plane will fly.

The big problem with any scratch build is the CoG location. The CoG is a function of numerous factors which include the areas of the wing and horizontal stab, mean aerodynamic chords and tail moments. If your plane is a delta wing, other factors need to be considered as well.

Regardless, the CoG is determined by the final design. The trick is to balance the plane on (or very near) the CoG.

Good luck with the maiden.
