Hey JB, are you feeling left out with ET getting all the attention? OK, I extend to you the same invitation: Lay your gripes / thoughts / whatever, right here on the table. Now let's explore:

ROFLOL! No, all I have to do to get warm fuzzies is read the last threat of lawsuit that I recieved from an AMA official. Then I smack my lips...

YOU,JB, have stated within this forum that AMA's MA should be a profit center for AMA. That is one of my stated goals along with motivating the other model media to join AMA in promoting the hobby / sport.

You still have not explained why you feel the number of issues does not match your count. Or do I have to dig up YOUR thread to ask the question?

YOU, JB, have stated that you want more and better communication from EC members. I have promised a Web site where all pertinent AMA business would be available to all members.

Unless I am gravely mistaken, that has existed for some time. While everyone agrees it needs improvements, I fail to see how YOU are going to improve it. Last I checked (in YOUR words) "confusers" were not your specialty.

YOU, JB, want more interest in Flying Sites. I have promised to work to fill the free media and governmental agencies with awareness of our sport / hobby, recreation, whatever you prefer to call it, and assist all levels to better understand the needs, when Clubs petition for new flying sites or attempt to keep current ones. I used my own funds to make one site available for a large club. I work diligently for that club. How can I be against flying sites?

You and I happen to disagree on the manner in which the AMA and hobby are presented to the general public. You want to go for the big national show and I prefer going for the local decision makers. Show me where I said you were against flying sites because I surely cannot recall saying that. However, you do seem to be against any thoughts that do not agree with yours, a common failing of many.

Now JB, tell me and all these fine open-minded people just where you and I really disagree and how I pose a threat to model aviation?
I have been involved with more than one start up operation where the CEO is convinced he knows more than any about everything. Those all seem to crash and burn badly because of an unwillingness to listen to outside concepts. Read the last sentence of the previous response twice and consider that I am sure you are like those poor CEO's

Nothing personal, just my judgment and opinion with no consideration about your pleasure.
