Did you buy the Stryker with all the radio gear in it? (I just bought a couple of chunks of foam and stuck gear I already had in it). If so how are the sticks set up on the Tx? I set mine up (using elevon mix) as normal mode one with elevator on the left and ailerons and throttle on the right.

If yours is set up the same I would figure that if you can fly the Stryker with confidence you will be very well placed when you get back to the Calmato. If the Tx is set up differently you may have some adjustment to make, but you will still pick up a lot of basics. Sounds like you are already doing well, and the Stryker is not generally reckoned to be a beginners plane.

Hstore seems to be getting a few good raps, will need to give them a look.
